ACTSmart, Inc was started in 1993 by David and Pam Snell.  At that time, we were known as American Computer Technologies and incorporated in 2004 as ACTSmart, Inc.

We have morphed our business model continually over the years to always provide what our clients needed from us.  Our tagline has always been “Helping you benefit from today’s technologies.”  David runs the IT side while Pam runs the Web Department along with ACTSmart’s Marketing efforts.

Webdesign has been part of that business model from almost the beginning.  Over the years we have progressed from using Microsoft’s Front Page programming to Dreamweaver to today’s WordPress technology that we have embrassed because of it’s many benefits to our clients.

One of the main benefits to our web department is Pam’s many years experience in marketing.  She started in retail in high school and progressed to management and buying positions in the retail drug store trade.  Later, she worked in a dental practice and marketed them for 21 years.  These diverse experiences have helped her understand the marketing needs of many businesses.

Continual education is a key to our success; we do not wait to react to today’s technologies, we proactively research and educate ourselves and our clients to use the best technologies for them.  This drive to improve and excel has helped us thrive.
